Antique Vintage Tiffin Vaseline "Uranium Glass" Bowl and Candlesticks, Flared Rim, circa 1920s. Often referred to as yellow canary satin glass. Manufactured before the Atomic Age. Glass makers used uranium oxide to tint glass green, causing it to fluoresce under black light (short wave UV). This type of glass is often called "Vaseline Glass." Radiation level is NOT harmful, only slightly above background. Excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks. A few small bubbles and tiny scratches on the bowl (see pictures). As-Is. Bowl: 3.5" high, 9.25" diameter. Candlestick Stands: 1.5" high, 3.5" across. Twisted Candlesticks: 8.25" high, 4" base.
