Signed first edition, first printing hardcover of "The Theology of Romantic Love: A Study in the Writings of Charles Williams" by Mary McDermott Shideler (Harper & Brothers, 1962). Signed and inscribed by Shideler on the reverse of the half title page.Jacket is protected in a new archival sleeve, but shows rubbing/scuffing and shelf wear around the edges, including chipping, creases, and tears. There is a blemish towards the base of the jacket spine from sticker removal. Large tear along rear joint of jacket. Boards are straight and clean, but with bumped corners.
